We are very excited to announce that we are pregnant with twins!
We went to the doctor for our first ultrasound at 8 wks. The doctor started the ultrasound & was really quiet. He started to worry me so I asked him if everything was alright and he said that it was. He was really quiet again and I asked him if he saw a baby. He said "Actually, there are two!" Jack's first words were "I knew it!" He showed us two heartbeats and said everything looked great!
We came home and showed Alex and Jack E. the ultrasound picture. I asked them if they knew what it was. Alex said "Is it a kid?" I showed them that there were two babies and Jack E. said "The one on the right looks like a fireman's helmut." They were very excited to tell the rest of the family that night. Their favorite part was showing everyone the picture and waiting for them to see that it was twins! It was so much fun watching them enjoy sharing the news. They are going to make great big brothers!
